AssetPulse RFID
An RFID asset tracking platform for administrators and field teams managing equipment across rooms, custodians, and lifecycle states.
The problem
Asset teams needed clearer product direction for registration, assignment, room scans, repairs, missing items, returns, and reporting. The workflow also needed realistic expectations for RFID field work, where scan accuracy depends on tags, rooms, distance, device handling, and process discipline.
Product scope
AssetPulse RFID defines a web admin console for asset records, custodians, lifecycle states, repair history, room assignments, reports, and audit trails. It also includes a Flutter mobile workflow for RFID room scans, asset lookup, missing-item checks, and field updates from staff away from the desk.
Outcome
The completed project gives stakeholders a stronger operating map: what the web system manages, what the mobile app handles, how RFID scanning should be used, and which reports matter for accountability.
